If you are interested in a career caring for those in need with the potential to find employment within the public homebased care sector, children’s homes, old aged homes, public clinics and adult centres, you may be a suitable candidate for our HIV, AIDS, Palliative & Homebased care Training Programme.

A 6 Month SETA Accredited Programme in HIV Aids &
Palliative & Home Based Care

The programme focuses strongly on basic nursing education & the understanding of terminal illnesses and the HIV Aids pandemic.

The purpose of this qualification is to provide learners with theoretical and practical knowledge to meet the requirements for contributing to the public health care in South Africa.

The theory component is conducted at the Ray Mhlaba Centre and the Practical component at local Old Aged Homes.

Employment opportunities postgraduation include the public homebased care sector, children’s homes, old aged homes, public clinics and adult centres.
