The Ray Mhlaba Skills Training Centre is an extension programme of the Eastern Province Child and Youth Care Centre previously known as the EP Children’s Home, one of the oldest Centre’s of it’s kind in the Nelson Mandela Metropole.  

Skills Training That Changes Lives

Our primary focus is to assist in the government’s financial obligation to reduce poverty and unemployment of youth aged 18-25 years residing in underprivileged and deprived circumstances.

SKILLS TRAINING

 We empower our youth in skills and social development programmes equipping them with the knowledge, skills and ability to obtain formal employment or become successful entrepreneurs.

JOB READINESS

Our work preparation programme equips our students with valuable life skills such as time management, communication, discipline and self-confidence.

SUCCESS STORIES
