If you are interested in a career in needlework with the potential to find employment with

tourism outlets such as museums and airports, craft markets and hosiery manufactures, you may be a suitable candidate for our Needlework Training Program.

A Skills /  Entrepreneurial Program Following Specific Training Guidelines

The program provides students with the practical knowledge and experience to become employed in the hosiery and tourism industries or become entrepreneurs.

The program focuses on needlework skills and a variety of arts and crafts, the students are able to use their creativity in developing saleable items for the tourism industry.

  • Health, Safety and Security in the hosiery industry environment

  • Measurements and Patterns

  • Sewing and Embroidery machinery operation (domestic and industrial)

  • Saleable item production and repair

  • Alterations

  • Arts and Crafts (a variety of items)

  • Financial and Business Management

  • Personal Development and Communication

Employment opportunities post-graduation include tourism outlets such as museums and airports, craft markets and hosiery manufactures as well as Entrepreneurial opportunities.
